5 Wedding Invitations Trends Couples Are Loving

2026 has brought so many amazing projects onto my desk. Here are five details I am seeing couples choose again and again in their wedding invitations.

1) Letterpress

About 85% of my clients are opting for letterpress in some form on their wedding invitations. Some even choose to keep it going with letterpressed menus as part of their day-of paper goods! 

2) Die Cut Shapes

From hotel keys, to taxis, to shells, to martinis, to sailboats, couples have been LOVING die cut shapes. Additionally, we have had some fun with creative shaped borders like scallops, ovals, and tickets. 

3) Thick Paper

One of the most common questions I am receiving during initial conversations with couples is about paper weight. Couples want their invitations to feel luxurious and thick!

4) Personal Details

Arguably the biggest reason couples opt for 100% custom invitations is to have them feel unequivocally like them.
